The Nag of Grams...

Looking back on that summer day in 2006, I QUIT my job and started my own business. I remember all my friends telling me "You're CRAZY!"! I would call them up after plunging in for 4 days and no money, 3 girls and 2 of them in early elementary! I can still hear my grandma's voice saying, "If you anyone can do it, YOU CAN DO IT". I remember the mornings of panic as I was getting creative with the half of a gallon of milk staring back at me! I wish I could have told you I was praying, but I wasn't! I was in PANIC MODE, the thoughts that ran through my head was.. You are a high-school drop out, Your mother was a meth addict and your whole family is in prison! How can you really think you can do this? Then.. again, I did what I did best!! I focused on what I did have!!! Everything I learned from was from my GRAMS! She was and always WILL be the only true inspiration in my life! Everything I know in business today has to do with her NAGGING! 

NAG # 1 -

"Missy, don't ever walk out your bedroom door without first putting on a fresh pair of panties!" YOU MUST DRESS FOR SUCCESS!

 NAG # 2 -

"Missy, no man wants a messy wife (I was a single mother of 3 girls at the time)!" YOU MUST MASTER YOUR CALENDAR!

NAG # 3 - 

"Missy, nothing is given to you for FREE!" LAZINESS IS NOT AN OPTION!

I set up a desk in one the small bedrooms, forgot about my circumstances and applied the 3 things I COULD DO. Every night, I would put together my calendar of my day on a white piece of paper. I made two copies, one for the fridge for the girls and grams & one for me to tape to my desk. I woke up every morning dressed for success, including makeup! Then I plunged in: making cold calls and emailing potential clients!

After, the 5 th day... I remember as clear as day! It was a Tuesday..... My hard-work paid off and I made 3 K that day! That month almost 5 K in Profit! Over the course of the next 5 years, my months grew and grew, some months making more than I could ever imagine! I am showing you the very first 5 years as a beginning point for us and help you see how imperative for your growth to beginning documenting! "What Gets Measured Gets Managed"! Today, I manage everything.....for years! I watch not only profitability, but transactions - both good and bad! How many times do we let down a customer and go into a closed shell! Let me show you how not to do that!
