What is NEXT?? I AM THE CHANGE!

I sat some time ago with a crossroads thought..... it made me think of that June summer back in 2006 when I decided to take a leap of faith and go to work for myself.  During that time I had only $21 and yet, I was filled with more security...of my career choice! yet....... 14 years later, I don't like this uncertainty and I am more determined to BE THE CHANGE!

The basics have remained the same, the way that things are done have remained the same.... yet, I could feel there was an evolution of logistics about to emerge. I realized that there is a compendium ready to erupt. 

We talk about the same things: Broker market vs. Truck market, market trends, fuel prices, merges, etc...

I am encouraging us all to take a moment to do some deep self-evaluation and ask the deep question if everything around us is evolving.. and yet, the technology continues to remain the same - - to make sure remain more disorganized than before.  

CRM/TMS + LOAD BOARDS = SHIPMENT COVERED = MARGIN OF PROFIT

• Big Box Brokers merging
• A 10 M year agency is considered a "small fish"
• Endless SPOT bidding to receive fewer shipments at the end of the day?
• Thousand of emails weekly discussing the same topics?
• Mountains of unfinished work, to wake up and do it all over again?
• Market trends change like the stock market floor?
• Clients seeing profit savings overvalue?

How I long for the 2000's (year) when my client/carrier relationships were my heartbeat and price was secondary to loyalty. 

20 years later, I find peace in knowing that success means nothing unless I find a solution to this rat race! What's next.......2020 and I AM THE CHANGE!!!

I stop looking at all that is wrong with the system and stop using what everyone else is doing and be a pathfinder to a new solution. As you self reflect on how you can be the solution that keeps that client and carrier on your side. What is NEXT for you???

Will you find a way to use your talent for something huge? Will you find a solution to any problem you have today?
