Today, you must believe!!!
Oct 28, 2020Years ago, I was trained by two of the greatest men in Logistics. Both today, own companies that are in the top 100.
If today, I called them and said, “I want to work for you again”
As CEO”s of multi-million dollar companies, they would not only make a place for me. They would spend countless hours with me, knowing my wealth is in my “ideas”.
I sat before my boss that summery day and he told me that things were changing and I had to decide, do I work by commission at 50 % of my pay?
You see, If I am going to have faith for 50 % of my pay, why not have faith for 100 % of my pay.
I put in my two week notice and was escorted out of the building that day.
I had $21 in the bank and a dream! My grams said, “Missy, if you can make millions for others why not for yourself?”. She took her jar off the mantle labeled “Grand Ole Opry Fund” ( I was a single mother with 3 girls and a 70 year old grandma and that jar was her dream, to one day visit and meet the Stratler brothers)
She handed me a little less than $200 as her investment and she kept $40 and said “Go get the girls ready and pretty yourself up, we are going out for dinner”. Oh my, what a treat! We shared nachos that night at Bandidos Mexican restaurant and put our business plan together.
That day, I had faith to pay the $2300 a month to keep the lights on.
What you don’t know, is that my whole life was surrounded by people who kept me captive. They knew I was a CEO, I would go to meetings with my bosses and they would be mesmerized of my forward thinking ideas, but when bonus time came, I would get a $25 gift card.
Why? because I was only getting what I believed I was worth.
I want you to start to believe in your power, your strength, even if your were like me; a girl from a town of 200 people who grew up on the wrong side of the tracks.
Kenneth Copeland said (paraphrased), “if you had to believe God for $200,000 for next week, could you believe? If You had to pay that bill!!! You might NOT be able to believe, but Bill Gates has no trouble believing”
Do not limit the power of faith, speak life into your situation and know that it is by faith all things are possible. I started a company with $21, an investment of $200, a gifted computer that was slower then snails, a borrowed fax machine and two legs that carried me the library daily to check out books.
My first 6 weeks were brutal and we were living off my grandmas “meals on wheels”, heat was turned off , the girls had no idea because I was bathing them outside. I had to pay the electricity and internet... it was sink or swim!
As I was about to give up, I received my first load and then my 2nd and by my 7th week, day by day, I was doing it!
Today, you must believe!!!
